A New Term at Hogwarts

A new term has begun at Hogwarts, and it will be the first for new Headmaster Kamin Corvidire. No news has been released regarding any other staffing changes, but this- like every year at Hogwarts- is certain to be an interesting one!

The north and east of the castle stretches a great expanse of grass, bordered by the Forbidden Forest. Within this open space you can find the Quidditch pitch and broom shed, Herbology greenhouses, and the hut formerly used by Hagrid as a residence, and now used to store supplies and animals for Care of Magical Creatures. There are also numerous walking paths, gardens, and manicured courtyards.

Matt wandered out towards the Courtyard, feeling a bit worn down by homework. He found an empty bench and sat down, looking skyward and watching the clouds pass by. It had been a while since he had stopped and relaxed, but the recent amount of homework handed down by the professors made him wonder if they were just wanting to keep the students busy. Shaking his head, he sighed before hearing someone approach, turning his head to see who it was.
