’Everlasting Elixirs: a type of potion with the effect to either never run out of potion or to work forever. – 'Advanced Potion Making’ by Libatius Borage
Megara had written the above text on the wheeled chalkboard that always sat on the dais at the front of the classroom. She stood beside it, waiting to speak until all of her N.E.W.T level students had taken their seat and read the board. “Good afternoon! Today, we will be using your ‘Advanced Potion Making’ textbook to learn about Everlasting Elixirs, with an essay on the subject due by next class. This textbook was published around 1946 and has been used for decades in the education of young witches and wizards preparing for their N.E.W.Ts, containing advanced recipes and various other topics related to potion-making. In preparation for today, you all should have read the chapter titled “Different Methods of Potion Preparation”, but if you have not, you will have time now to do so while everyone else reads Chapter 5 and works on their essays.” She announced.
“If you have already read the chapter, and work diligently for the duration of this class period, I believe you can have your essay completed and turned in by the end of class. I will be here if you have any questions. Without further ado, please open your textbooks and begin working quietly.”
ooc:// For essay assignments such as this, please PM me a short essay (approx. 2 decently sized paragraphs) on Everlasting Elixirs. I will PM you back your grade in return. I have provided a link to the ’Advanced Potion Making’ textbook below for your reference. You may still post here if you wish to RP the class.
