Male
Birthday: 11/11
House:
Slytherin
Slytherin
Residence: An old, slightly run-down mansion that has been owned by his father's side of the family for generations.
Appearance: Tall and lanky at 5'9 and 125lb, his legs seeming just a bit too long for the rest of his body. The brown hair from his mother's side of the family is in stark contrast with his father's icy blue eyes. Not a big fan of fashion, he usually dons various shades of grey with an occasional bit of green for House spirit. He has a way of blending in and remaining unnoticed until he wants you to pay attention to him.
Personality: Laic prefers to go by his last name, Dazi, even among close friends. His jokes are a bit deadpan and he can come off as rude if you're not used to his sense of humor, although he's never mean about it. He's somewhat quiet, more interested in people-watching than being part of the action. Dazi is also anxious about making mistakes with magic in front of others, and will wander off to unoccupied parts of the castle to practice secretly before using spells in front of anyone else. He loves working with his hands and delights in creating things that are part machinery and part magic. He occasionally acquires random interests and practices obsessively until he has mastered his new skill.
History: Aspen Temera was a Ravenclaw and Corvic Dazi a Slytherin from an old family that fell into disgrace after the war. Laic's mother has always been embarrassed by this and cried when she got news that he had been sorted into Slytherin. She insists it's because she's scared for him bearing the stigma of his House butt he truth is she is biased against Slytherins, despite falling for Laic's father. Corvic encourages Laic to carry on the family name although he seems quite uncomfortable whenever it's brought up. Despite the large house they inherited he grew up quite poor. His father and mother both have low-ranking jobs in the Ministry and he is their only child.
